Most of my experience is in more of a B2B and feature factory type of roles. My personal experience in tech has been that most places think they’re not feature factories and so hire based on more “textbook” criteria that doesn’t actually reflect their culture or role. For me my lack of “0-1” projects hurts me in applications the most.

Has anyone else successfully navigated this challenge and have any advice?

I am about to finish a 6 month bootcamp and I am a single mum. Is it realistic for me to find a remote working job or working in the office during term time (school hours) and working from home during the holidays/evenings. If this is possible some possible companies for me to try looking for work would be great. Many thanks.

Does anyone here have experience working as a PM for a non-profit? I have an interview with one that I would love to be a part of. I can’t find much information online regarding salary expectations.

I’m trying to pivot to PM after >3 years in finance and I have a 2nd round interview with CPO this week. Company has 3.7 on Glassdoor with complaints about CEO, “bro-y” culture, and hard to wfh. It’s a data analytics company with 5 PMs, was bought by a PE firm this year, and has a new (female) CEO as of Oct. Role is 50/50 hybrid, pays well vs what I make, and most importantly would be a foot in the door to PM. Is this a good place to be for PM? What else do I need to find out to know for sure?
