Might be guilty of this time to time

I work in US Tax and had an experience of 3 year. Had got an offer of 14Lpa in another big4,but still don't feel like continuing in US Tax. As taxation is something I do feel like I don't want to make a career anymore, because of work life balance & also as it specialised. Please suggest other option worthy to make a career shift. You guidance will be extremely helpful. My highest qualification is M.com.

TBWA NY layoffs today.
Overheard: "How can you 'imply' cheese??"
This shouldn’t be news to people but it is.

She put herself in a precarious situation and is probably ‘ishing bricks right now. Especially since layoffs are in the air and if she has to lay you off, she’s no doubt terrified of what you’ll say if it happens.
I’d carry on like nothing happened. Be friendly, be affable. She’ll probably try to protect you if cuts come.
I get that it's not a comfortable thing to address, but I think there's a greater likelihood of a problem developing if you don't address it than if you do. I suggest talking to her about it, but I acknowledge that others may disagree.
“Kinda” regretting it or regretting it?
Step 1 would be to find the clarity within yourself first.
The conversation will be a tad awkward but it doesn’t have to be career defining. The fastest it happens the better to be honest.
Maybe try to build up a compassionate way of conveying how you feel and express how you envision the future relationship you’ll both have now knowing what happened.
Maturity is key.
I guarantee you she’s thinking about it and might be already prepared for either outcome.
Sorry you’re going through that. Agree with others, if the genders were reversed, the issue would be clear. But, there’s still a power imbalance here. So, the way you’re feeling is valid.
Yikes.
Cover your ass ASAP, as kindly as possible.
Initiating physical contact with a direct report is a fireable offence. Trust if your genders were reversed, the company’s action would likely be swift and severe — or at least should be, but hey #metoo was a long time ago now.

Did she use her power against you?

Strike first before she strikes. CYA before she spins it on you. Just because the roles are reversed doesn’t make your situation any less valid. Do it all in writing so there is a trail. It’s like a teacher taking advantage of a student.

And your comment is hypocrisy. If genders were reversed you would be calling for the CD’s career
I don’t think you should address it. She probably won’t bring it up or try to do it again. Let it go

Stay silent about someone taking advantage of their power is never the answer
This feels like a very specific situation that is easily identifiable on an anonymous platform. Let’s hope she doesn’t have Fishbowl.

I think you hit the jackpot friend. You take that kiss and fold it up and put it in your pocket and if you ever get laid off or want a raise or something, you take it and unfold it. You have some currency, son. Use it wisely, you lucky duck. Also, want don’t you want more? Is she not good looking enough?
If you feel comfortable enough have a convo to clear the air. Make it clear that this is something that is not appropriate for a boss to initiate and that you don’t want this to continue because it puts both of you in a compromised position at work. And (depending on how you feel) you’d like to continue working together professionally and not have this come up again. And maybe get that in writing so if this behavior continues you have record of where you stand.
Ouf don’t do this!! It will put her on the defensive and paints you as a victim which it doesn’t sound like is quite an accurate description given you’re unsure whether you’re into it or not…
Roll the dice only if you have proof. Cause…what if she just denies…
You could ring alarms about power and abuse or what ever the f, like a few people here are suggesting… or you could just be adults about it. This type of alarmism feels infantilizing sometimes
