When is a 3 page resume acceptable?
Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Yes, a lot of times the mission statement ties in with the goals of the company. Which in turn helps with promotion evaluations and how to align yourself.

As program manager, vision and mission is my jam, but if the words have no action and the exe team does not champion this as the north star, then you just have an arsenal of pretty powerpoint presentations and catch phrases that are conveniently weaponized. It really sucks and is demotivating when this is just a corporate communication box to check.
Yes but it really depends. Some organizations depend on their mission statement to act as a guide for developing business goals KPI‘s and OKR’s metrics, which in returns ties to department performance evaluations also potential quarterly bonus targets.
Yet on the other hand, I’ve noticed that some organizations missions goals are not leverage or utilized in the way mentioned above and or more so just considered a talking point for a leadership and employees sometimes will feel disconnected to what their purpose is within the organization and overall business strategy and outcomes .
Mission statements are lip service for funding. That is all.
