You tell that vocal family of yours they can roll up to McCann everyday if the want, but you’re checking out the options!

The shelf life on an offer is usually only 3 days. After that, the company assumes you’re either using it for a counteroffer at your current employer, or waiting for other offers.
You may be able to buy time by playing dumb given your title, but that won’t work for midlevel or above.
Congrats on the offer btw and good luck!
Our parents have antiquated ideas about the way job hunting works
Are you over the age of 18?
Other people’s goals for you aren’t your goals for you.
Your parents likely want you to be financially secure, safe, and employed. Your partner (or at least mine) may want you in the job that makes the most money or is most prestigious to non-creatives.
Those goals all have value and merit, but you didn’t go through all the work of becoming a creative to take a role that isn’t creative. Follow your own dreams and find something that fulfills you.
This is why I don't tell my parents when I'm interviewing

Not to be that guy, but if someone has already made you an offer, it's not gonna be good for very long. So if you're fine with potentially walking away from the table with no job, pass on this one and see what happens with the next two. Just know the inherent risk/reward associated with whatever you decide to do with the existing offer.
these days? keep your options open. it's an employee's market!
Doesn’t feel like it honestly
maybe im a asshole but id bank it and back out later if another offer was better
dragging your feet is just as inconvenient to em
and in this biz, offers can take weeks to come in after interviews
