Peak performers are often the target of irrational behavior due to their success. In my personal experience it’s because the other servers feel they are unfairly being rewarded and will often work to get the peak performers fired so they don’t have to match their performance
Ooooooooh - I did not think of this! They must have gotten the GMs ear and said things to get this server fired… wow that’s crazy.
Good workers are a threat
Apparently that is very true!!! Crazy!!!
Gotta be something going on behind the scenes that he's not comfortable discussing with you. At least I'd hope there is. Because if not, this is a really stupid move. Good workers are hard to come by and shouldn't be dismissed thoughtlessly.
I’m scratching my head because this server is just amazing… haven’t heard any gossip!
Sleeping together!
When someone is let go, especially someone who appears to be a good worker, there's always a story that goes with it. I'm guessing the server offended the GM in some way. Or they committed some infraction that was serious enough to warrant firing, yet no one is comfortable talking about it. If you're clever in how you poke around perhaps you'll get the real story.
Yeah maybe the server offended the GM - I doubt she committed anything serious enough for a firing though. Makes no sense to me!
Could be that a quid pro quo scenario turned into a quid pro no.
