My position has been eliminated due to budget cuts. My one thought was "Here we go again!" I have over 30 years of experience as a Secretary/Receptionist/Administrative Assistant/Ambassador of First Impressions, and I'm looking for a job I can grow within and stay until I'm carted out feet first -- I have five to six years before retirement, and I would want to work part time after that. I've worked in both small and large offices, I want to keep mentally busy and have variety in my tasks.

Are there any spreadsheets or charts showing reference points for self report surveys for compensation? Maybe from FB users on salaries, tier city comparisons, level/role, different companies etc?

I asked for a raise in April 2022 after three years with my company. Positive feedback since day one. Learned I was making less than peers at other asset managers in NYC with less experience (14 years). Latest conversation was with HR about how they calculate salaries. I’ve been asked to provide examples how my role has changed since I started to justify the increase. Is this normal? Or is this just their way of denying my request?
