My practice group and the work in my office has pretty much dried up due a combo of attorneys leaving, clients leaving and current economic conditions. I want to leave but I also want to start a family soon and am worried about going to a new firm and then getting pregnant. Any advice?

Has anyone heard or experienced going on maternity leave, then leaving shortly after returning? I'm hearing from my husband's company if he takes pat leave, and leaves shortly after returning, he'd have to repay the wages paid while out on leave. Is this only for pat leave and the person who gives birth wouldn't have to pay back as it's technically disability pay? Trying to weigh my options as I want to get out of my company, but want the mat leave first.

Has anyone attempted lab “kits”? A small set of materials you send home with a kid to do a lab at home?
