My take on H1B visa issue.

1. Yes, you won't travel to US anytime near soon.No company is going to pay the fee.Officially your US Dream is over.

2. Service based companies will loose their employees and revenue.

3. American companies shall suffer and will pay more for mediocre work.I have worked with US people for 10+ years and know their IQ. Most of the jobs were being run by talented Indians who behaved like Americans at times.

4. There will be lots of remote jobs created.Go and grab it.

Need help,I am joining @VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.

So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.

So can I accept the offer from first company and then if second one also sends an offer then let the first company know I would like to reject? Also i am on H1B visa.
