Deloitte sr consultant salary nyc?
I just got a 3 month contract offer as Senior Paid Social Strategist at Meta through a staffing agency. I have a fte with an early stage social commerce startup atm. It’s great pay but the current climate for startup fundraising is so uncertain.
I’m really conflicted between the two. On the one hand, a name like Meta would be a great resume booster (I’ve never worked for a FAANG or big ad agency.) On the other hand, 3 months at a shaky Meta could also leave me in no man’s land. Thoughts? Facebook (Meta)

In NYC for one child I'd expect to pay between 17 and 21 dollars per hour. You can expect to pay more (I know ppl who pay as much as $25) if you want special skills or someone with a background in early childhood. It also depends on how many hours you need. You generally pay more per hour when you need less hours. When I had a nanny only 12 hours a week, I paid $20 an hour to make it attractive to someone to take a job for only 4 hours a day. I pay $17 per hour now for 30+ hours a week of care.
Actually, I hired one of my child's daycare teachers when the daycare went out of business. If cost is a concern for you, you may want to consider a nanny share. It's a little more complicated than hiring a nanny that only works for you but it can really reduce the cost. If you live in a large apartment bldg or complex, you may be able to find a neighbor who'd like to do a share with you.
My brother pays $50,000/year for their nanny. His son is now 2.5- has had a nanny since ~6 months. $40K goes to the nanny and $10k is in taxes.
