Hey, so I was offered a CDP position as an analyst in Accenture starting this fall, but today I just found out I got the Fulbright scholarship to be an ETA in Thailand for a year. It’s an honor of course, and I’m thinking about asking my recruiter if I could delay my Accenture start date for a year. Would it be worth it to do so? Is it even possible?

I’m feeling really drained and frustrated with my current role. I like recruiting but it’s getting exhausting. What’s next for me after this? What roles can I look into that are less demanding but still pay well. For context I make around 76k right now and would like to increase that. Am I stuck in recruiting? Looking for advice for investing in these two options. Say I have $100k by October saved up
1) Put 10k into iBonds and $90k as downpyament and closing costs for a property (I’ll need to put in 20%, already talked to several mortgage agents)
2) Put $0 in ibonds and put all the $100k in the home investing (given it’s a little more of an expensive property, given some other factors - location, size, etc)

What can help me (2 YOE at B4) get an interview at MBB besides a referral? Certain skills, certain qualifications, GMAT score, or something else?

As someone who is interested in public interest law (open to impact litigation or policy work), does it make sense to clerk in state court -- trial level -- and if so, for how long? Are these clerkships only useful for becoming a state court judge down the line or can they open doors to other paths?

I feel like I’ve really mucked up my early career choice. I enjoy mechanical engineering and I do believe that it CAN be a broad field, but nowhere near as much mobility as data science, business analytics, consulting, etc. I plan to get my MBA in the future and transition to project mgmt, but that’s well over 5-7 years away.
