How hard is it to exit to the buy side from FDD?

Recently, i was "promoted" or, I should say, my title was changed to the next ring up the ladder. As a part of this, I went from reporting to Senior Management, to Junior Management. The Jr. Manager has good intentions, but, is not helpful. I've worked at the company longer, have accomplished more across multiple lines of business and have a much stronger internal network. Am I overreacting thinking this is a major slight that will ultimately slow down my growth within the company?

Is finding a Generalist position for more than 50k but with me having less than 7 years of HR experience reasonable? Is a generalist position the best next step to get more experience? I have a masters in HR and my SHRM-CP certification. Any advice on upward moving in the industry is welcomed. Thanks in advanced

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb).
