Never a shortage of things to do but anyone else just say screw it and not do anything for a day or two? Really feeling burnt out and with holidays, motivation is in the toilet.

Always said I wanted to reach FI to take more time to do things I love and spend more time with family. But have 9mo off this year and pretty much just binged watched streaming platforms. Rethinking this whole path.

How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. Some of us have reached out to HR and we’re told to discuss it with the regional director, but the regional director says we’d have to come in early or leave late to block out a lunch break. My commute is an hour each way, so I’d prefer not to make my day any longer. Advice?

I’m intrigued but I want to know 2 things:

How’s the pay and WLB at the corporate finance/IB subsidiaries of the big 4 compared to traditional MM IBs?

Currently working at PwC as a Banking and Capital Markets Experienced Assurance Associate working on one of our biggest clients. Within the last month we have lost a majority of our team and I’m working 100+ hour work weeks and most likely will be until the end of February. With 13.5 Lpa currently i’m at 12 and made switch on march.
Though my current company is an mnc but not that big and no work pressure is there, amazing work life balance. However, there is little to no learning and its very slow, the project is just starting and the client itself is not clear what they want. Do you think I should switch just because its a big 4.
