Do you guys diversify your portfolio internationally (developed markets, emerging markets, etc)? Which funds/ETFs/etc and how much of your portfolio?

I just started investing in VXUS

like

No. Almost 40% of the market-weighted sales of the sp500 are international.

like

25% international

like

EY2 is right S&P 500 already has a lot of international exposure. That said I’m a fan of Vanguard. You can pick a decent international fund or a global fund (ex US). Check out the site and find something that works.

like

Yes I have emerging markets index. UK index and world index to diversify. That’s probably 30-40% of my portfolio, 60% US

Smart thing to do. Especially the Pacific region.

I have a LOT of credit card debt. It has just grown over time and I can’t find my way out. I’m considering debt consolidation, specifically a company called National Debt Relief which seems legit but I’m just so hesitant because I’m scared to make my situation worse. Or a personal loan to pay off all the CC debt and then have a smaller all in one payment. I’m intelligent and I work in finance, it’s so embarrassing. HELP.
