My director just spoke negatively about me to our client (they said I “ramble” when I gave a presentation-which to their point I did) but felt a little disrespected. Don’t think my director knew I was in the room but need some help navigating the situation. Do I talk to them ? Let it slide ?

I started a new job as an “office manager” at the end of January. The duties seem to align more with those of an EA, and I’m ok with that. Except my boss is a control freak. He scolds me over every little thing, how I load the dishwasher, maybe I didn’t push my chair in. Last week he told me I needed to work on my appearance. I was shocked. I bought all new clothes from Ann Taylor that are perfectly acceptable for business casual. He hates me. Move on ASAP or try to stick it out ?

How often do you respond to emails from law students who want to learn about your firm/practice area? I get like a dozen requests right around OCI every year. Frankly I’m tired of speaking to them and answering the same boring questions, especially if I know they have a low GPA and no chance of summering at my firm, but I do feel bad saying no/ignoring them

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Basically, since ad school I've stuck with the tried and true format of Insight (1 line on a slide), Idea (1-2 slides w/ a line+key visual), How It Works (executions, etc), and that seems to be the format that a lot of agencies use.
Obviously, this will always vary by agency and project, I'm just curious about the broader structuring rather than getting into the nitty-gritty details.
