My amazing boss is leaving. They have been a champion for me and the best leader I’ve ever had. I am devastated. I’ve usually had ok to not great managers so have never experienced this feeling before. It’s like im going through the stages of grief. Having a great leader has been like oxygen. The difference for my mental health is like night and day. I remember how my life was when I had a not great manager and I just can’t go back to that. Any words of wisdom or advice? Asking for two of my friends. Age around 22. 1 has done B.Sc in Nursing. And the other has done B.Sc in Agriculture. Both have become hopeless into their respective fields after looking for job and not being able to fetch any better. They want to switch to IT. My question is can they do this if acquired sufficient skills! I mean irrespective of their background, will a company hire them as a intern or fresher? If it's possible, then kindly suggest.
