I am seeing stellar returns and extremely low expense ratios but apparently since they're quantitatively managed algorithms, they don't account for things like corona for example.

Admin is not typically an entry level position. Instead of thinking "performs administrative duties", you should be thinking "the system administrator for the Salesforce platform, and apps contained within". More and more the job market is aligning to this, which is much more in-line with other branches of IT; in the past there were many "accidental admins" when the tools were simpler and the pool of candidates amaller. For an entry-level job, you'd probably be looking for something like "operations analyst" or "support analyst"; if you can code, learn Apex and junior/staff developer roles would be reasonable; if you have other technical project experience, a business analyst or PM role would be within reason, etc.
There is a new entry level certification launched today.
