Thoughts on having a baby 👶🏾 with a surrogate in West Africa or the Caribbean ? Also looking towards Mexico.

Interviewing at a different Big4 for an SM role. But me and my SO are trying to conceive. Most Big4 have a 12 month work requirement before you become eligible for the parental leave. When would you bring up discussing shorter requirement, I’ve heard it is possible they can shorten it to 6 or 9 months (not pregnant yet).

I’m heading back to work after having my first baby. My (beautiful amazing) son is 4 months and in a rough sleep regression so I’m often tired. I’m starting back part (20 hours) time from home. Any tips/encouragement from the other working moms out there?

Any recommendation for compression socks? Pregnant and taking a flight soon…

Inflammatory comment: Civil engineer who did an MBA to transition from engineering consulting to management consulting and I could not have been happier. During my 6 years in EC (across 3 firms and 3 countries) I worked with people who were unmotivated, lazy, selfish, poor communicators, poor leaders, set in their ways and afraid of change. No wonder traditional engineering can’t retain good talent and the construction industry is just entering Industry 2.0 while the rest of the world is at 4.0.

Any advice on how to convince a conspiracy theorist about why it’s important to take the coronavirus vaccine? No judgement please on either side.
