After uploading documents in Bosch First Services one week ago, there was no update from them, when I replied to them via mail - They said we will get back to you.Is this sign of getting compensation breakup or they looking for other candidates.I have offer from CGI and only 3 days is remaining to accept. What should I do in this case?As CGI has said if you don't join after accepting offer we will blacklist you.

Bowl Leader
From what I've seen/heard from trusted members of my network, pretty negative in CSG, where the consultants are. Comp-wise, promo raises are small (~10% by all accounts) and refreshers rare. Upward mobility-wise, they are building out layers of people management roles that ultimately have little autonomy and the same billable hours responsibility, but are relatively easy to obtain (with a good training program) if you want the title. They hire VP+ from the outside, very rare to see someone who started as an IC rise to that level in recent years as in the past. Transferring to another team is verbally supported but often politically blocked. Exit ops debatable, I see folks taking roles at clients, boutique consulting firms, or moving to SE or product depending on their skills and preferences. Definitely not FAANG or MBB though.
The main problem seems to be that they recently watered down the mid-level architect roles to be almost entirely SOW-focused, and the people managing those engagements treat those resources like staff aug - then they created director+-level roles to do the strategic work manager/sr. manager-level PA's used to do, and hire mostly from the outside for those too, since they don't have projects or training which develop consulting/leadership skills in people that don't already have them coming in. They also don't invest in ops, with internal projects run by volunteers/voluntold who do not get billable time credit for the work.
SFDC has a "rest and vest" reputation and what I've seen aligns with that. Career mobility and quality of available work for a mid-career consultant is much better elsewhere, RSU's + ESPP and other bennies are the best reason to work there, and your best comp package relative to value is the one you start with day 1 there by most accounts, as they are famous for hiring from the outside, even boomerangs, at a higher level than people promoted to the same position from within.
Nailed it! Get me out of here!
AAA? Adobe now part of that?
