In the army we are all equal, but women have a special ability to make decisions, I have had many superior women, and I love working with them, I must note that I am a man, and I see that women are more accurate and pragmatic.

I agree with you; women provide that side that we always lack, the intelligent side; whenever there are women on my team, I feel safe only because of them.

Hi all. I’m finishing up school and looking to start applying for jobs in tech, I’m going for computer science, what range of salary should I expect going into this field?

Does anyone here freelance (in design or deckmaking) on top of their full time position? How does that work?

My SO is an alcohol abuser but has said he knows it’s a problem and would like to cut back or quit. Any suggestions or advice in how to help and cope with this. He becomes a different person when he drinks. I want to support him but don’t know how or where to start.

Take victories and defeats as equals! Nothing will teach young soldiers more than making mistakes in the heat of battle that almost cost you your life. If you're still breathing, there's something to learn. Listen to it.

Getting into the military helped my feeling of abandonment due to my father's absence. It sounds funny, but being in the military showed me another type of parenthood that I needed.

My advice: Concentrate on yourself above anything else, follow orders but also know how those orders affect you, serve your country but never forget you are serving yourself first. The objective is not to die honorably but to survive dutifully. What else would you add?

There is a certain air of respect you get when you become a military professional. As long as you earn that respect, of course. But I like it, it feels good!
