I have 2 offers, one from JPMC ( LOB IS Consumer and Community Banking) and the other from Wells Fargo. Both are giving similar roles, and exactly same pay. Location is Hyderabad. I tried for revision of pay but it didn't work.
Could anyone help me understand which one is better to join in terms of hikes, technology used and work life balance. I have to join on Tuesday, 16 Aug.

Don’t compare yourself. There will always be someone making more. You’re in a good position relative to most in terms of comp. Want to make more? That’s ok - think about what your options are and figure out whether the time and effort to get there is worth it for you and whether those hypothetical new roles would be a good fit for you. If you’re happy with what you make and enjoy what you do, That’s also ok. Sounds like you just need to figure out what you want, independent of what others are doing or what you think you SHOULD be doing. Generally speaking, I would just make sure that you’re being challenged in your current role and feel like you’re growing professionally.

Nearly $100k for 4 yoe plus they are covering your MBA is fantastic.
Thank you for all your comments. Your insight is appreciated !
My post may sound a little out of touch, but it’s mostly because I’ve been WFH basically since I graduated. That lack of networking doesn’t really provide a baseline for where I should be at by now. It’s great that’s groups like this are available to bounce this questions off. Thanks again !
You are doing more than ok at the $96K. The addition of ~$70K MBA means you are doing great. You are better positioned for a fast climb after the MBA. Imagine 6 YOE with an MBA and in Senior Manager/Director role, this is what I envision with the path you are on now.
I was going to echo comments above. 96k with 4 YoE is very good for a non banking finance job, especially if they are covering your MBA.
If you want to make more, you can switch to a banking or parlay your MBA into some type of buy side job, but in my opinion the terrible work life balance I’ve had since I joined banking is not worth the comp.
I don't know if you're asking a serous question or just boasting!
With the pay you're getting you're in a very good position right now and far better than many other financial analysts out there in the market in general.
You’re killing it. Be comfortable but not content. You’re already doing that by getting an MBA. My suggestion is pay down as much of your debt as you can while still maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This will position you to be extremely comfortable in your 30s
You kids need to stop getting so caught up in keeping up with Jones’ lol all your buddies finance all their elaborate vacations on their credit cards anyway. Surprise! 🎉🥳
Stay where you are even after you graduated with an MBA. To leave beforehand will make you look ungrateful and stupid, not to mention once you have your degree, then you can focus on making more money. You might have more money, if you scale things down a bit. Do you have a big, somewhat high end apt., then stay where the are is safe and nice but your rent/mortgage isn't as high. Are you leasing a high-end car, then get an SUV with a table and space for a portable office if it will help you to get things done. Do your clothes cost a lot, then go to a thrift store (Salvation Army has really nice clothes) find something in your size to be professional looking without spending a fortune. The suburbs may also be an alternative, also a refreshing change of pace from the city life and stress. I'm guessing the state and other taxes are reducing your net to a really low paycheck, so hopefully the ideas I listed might help to stretch things out. It might help to have only one credit card, and no debit card only an ATM card. That way it's easier to keep more money in the account, and to pay off the credit card with extra will help improve your credit to help with any promotions (your credit might be looked at to consider you for a raise or promotion). You're young, have patience, and get mental crisis help before it takes a toll on you.
I used to work for a BD, making 60k not wanting to pay my masters until I get full licensed. You are in the position I wanted. What else are you looking for?
