I’ve always been a big saver minimum 15% to maxing out my 401k since I graduated college. I’m married to someone who thinks 6% is enough and likes $$$ cars. Other than the cars, they dont really spend money. For the married 🐠, how do you have the conversation with them that what they are doing isn’t enough? I try to guide them and say you want the $$$ cars but the salary you have won’t get there and you’re going to have to find a job that gets them the salary…. Then the fight starts.

Should I Go Back and Reneg? Recently I was offered a role as a Project Implementation Manager (In Retirement Services) .The salary range for Colorado residents was 65-89K. I’m located in NY so the recruiter said he would try to get me more. Ultimately he came back at 90K which is a bit inline with that I was seeing on Glassdoor but approx looks like I may leave 10-12K on the table. I accepted already but may get an offer from another HR company in account management around 90-100K. Need advice

I keep on being asked ‘are you open to full time after this contract is over?’ Is this also common for you or is it just me and my role? 🤔

I expect to be asked at some point, but my research has given me a VERY broad range. So I’m here to do a bit more research. Hi guys, have you ever cried in a workplace. How does it feel if no one helps you when u ask something and they don’t respond at all if u are even asking doubts to them. Everyday I m crying coz of the culture since it’s a full time work from home we will have to call people in teams for helps and doubts and every time no one respond us and they make us think that we are unfit for this job and I cry at work everyday.. does this mean r they asking me to leave the job indirectly!!!

Right so here’s a bit of a dilemma I work to a much higher standard at home and it’s this high standard that means I’m in line for a promotion. I’ve grown so much and I feel really strong in my role I’m also busier than ever. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on?
