Now I realize that many departments have standards in place whereby officers are evaluated on how well they perform on their shifts, but I doubt that the majority of agencies are like "you MUST issue X number of tickets per month". Even people who are generally pro-LE buy into this myth. Meanwhile I just keep my mouth shut, because I don't feel like getting into a possibly heated debate with them.

Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.
