Lol ok don’t trust everything you read on the internet. During covid there was a lot of lateral hiring but we’ve cut back to historical levels. During that time we did contract some work to previous high performing Principals and Partners who left but had capacity but we’re not regularly contracting a bunch of randos for a bunch of roles. We do hire a decent number of ADCs as we like the diversity in thought. And yes for the past 10 years we have added more ops work, much like McK. Bain has too but to a lesser extant and is still more heavily indexed in PE work. I think the bigger reason for lower FT is because of strong summer recruiting
