A&M managers make director pay. So two levels above what PwC is offering. The money is not free, but it is industry leading

I agree it depends on what you want. If you plan to stay in FDD and ready to work for the $, then join. PwC is the better brand overall so ideal if you want to exit FDD at some point. But try to push for senior manager there depending on how long youve been a manager at EY since senior manager is the level before director there.
Yeah? How much are your billables and util % if you’re earning 300k?
A&M for money & a career in long-term diligence/deals career.
PwC for brand recognition when potentially exiting to something other than Deals work.
Either way, you have an excellent opportunity. Congratulations!

Think it depends if you want FDD long term or not. All things considered I think A&M would pay more.
What level manager are you now at EY
M2 technically “director”
Folks act like A&M is not known in the market. You have B4 experience already and I highly doubt having PwC FDD will give you an upper hand vs A&M FDD. The only benefit is there are more PwC alumni at industry than A&M since no one quits A&M lol. I’d give A&M a try, make a lot more money, and if you don’t like it, you’ll be in the exact same spot as leaving PwC FDD. Who knows, you might be like me and end up liking it a lot more than expected.
