Offered me a CTC of 11 LPA as Software Engineer with the following breakup:

Fixed: 10.3 LPA
Employer PF + Gratuity: 70K

Could anyone clarify what deductions are made from the fixed component, apart from employee PF and professional tax?

Also, how are medical insurance, variable pay, and bonus handled at HSBC - are they part of CTC or provided in addition?

I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. All of my performance reviews have been positive and I have been the lead/only BI developer on two of our largest and most public projects this year. Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. I wasn’t looking to move, but that higher end range would set my family up very nicely for our goals. But I am happy at my current company. Help?

Researching the job mkt & pay for nursing: It is so easy to set up a first interview esp. as a nurse. Set up a zoom meeting, in the zoom meeting ask abt job details and ask for the salary range. They will give it to you, and in my case it was the same range for both of the companies. (Hospice oncall nurse here👋). Then you fit in somewhere on that continuum based on education & experience—that where the negotiation comes in—they will make a case to place you as low as possible on the scale.
