Today I received my promotion from C to SC. I made SC at 3.5 years out of college at a boutique (Pariveda, Slalom, West Monroe)

I made C 1 year out of college, but not sure if Adcoms will "notice" that, or just see me as a 3 YOE C. I feel a 3.5 YOE SC is a meaningful difference, but Stacy Blackman (robo email) says to not update adcoms. Thoughts?

So I work for a small company as a SEM/Director… which in my world just means I am really Lead Developer, Part BA and part product owner as well as reviewing the devs. I came up in this company starting at about SE3 of 5 so the position is just kind of what I made it. I have recently been getting interest from some larger companies like Amazon. Long preamble to ask, what are the day to day responsibilities/expectations of an SEM at a FAANG?

I am project manager in clinical research industry (CRO). After earning PhD, I gave up my science dream to take a more stable job. I keep hearing that Booth’s MBA program is rigorous (maybe the most rigorous out of M7). That said, how much more work are students expected to do compared to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, etc.? I don’t know if this is an outdated opinion, considering a lot of MBAs are very demanding. Booth is personally my top choice for having a flexible curriculum & 2-3 days of classes. But I really want to know what to expect around the “rigorous” label. Does it mean I’ll be buried in coursework the other 2-3 days?
