One of my friends joined UST as a Sailpoint dev, it's been 1 month he is not getting any work, he is new to Sailpoint, so he wants to explore everything, but he is not getting that opportunity he is getting frustrated because he is not getting any work.

1)Any suggestion on what to do, he even spoke to his manager about it but even his manager is not helping much.

2) If he switches the company after working 1 month is it going to affect his career

I just got a job offer for an Entry Level Software Engineer at Boeing in Saint Louis. The salary is $82,000 with an $8,000 sign on bonus. Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!
