Hey fishies! Been a GVP consultant for 3.5 years now, hard work, tough “in trouble” clients, and just haven’t had the chance to work with a team long term! Been in the industry a while, current Head of DSPV and looking to jump back into FT work. I received an offer for a role that is a lot more money than I thought but I still want to negotiate and see how much more money I can get. What can I say if the salary is already above average for the role in the market and city I live in?

I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions? Just received an offer with expected / standard salary for role but no signing or relocation bonus. They know I don’t have any other offers which is why I assume they didn’t offer any signing bonus - do I have any chance of getting one without “leverage”?

I had a weird exp. with Wipro. I had my interview for AI/ML role which I cleared. They said, Your next round of the interview will be sched. this upcoming sat. I waited for their call but didn't get any response. I tried to contact the concerned HR but no response.
I sent the mails, No reply.
After that, I got the call that job location has changed, it's Bangalore, Pune. Are you interested.?
I said, I am ok with it. He said, Ok.
Call disconnected. It's been 2 weeks, still waiting.

I answered every question even interview ended on a very good note andI was confident that I will definitely make it to the next round then after an hour later I got the rejection email.
