Nobody refers to money as cabbage. I don’t care what any site written by white people tells you. This isn’t part of OUR cultural slang. But that name by Amex is also stupid.
This. We can agree that Amex name is cheesy. And I don’t wanna say that me being black means that I have some omniscient knowledge of hip hop. Buuuut “cabbage” isn’t a thing. Sure, in some random lyrics throughout the years, it’s been used. Doesn’t quite make it a trend that clients wanna latch onto.

Never used kabbage with my AAVE
It feels like someone unhip asked someone hip “how would you refer to money in your hip hoppy lingo?”. Like when you ask someone to give you a phrase in a foreign language and you end up saying something hilariously offensive without knowing it. And thus we have “kabbage”.
My cabbage don’t jiggle jiggle, it folds.
Never heard of “cabbage/kabbage” as a hip hop thing. Maybe it’s out there somewhere, but it definitely isn’t mainstream.
