I currently work at an international law firm (4 years) and recently accepted an offer to go in house. The main attorney I support did not take the news well and was very angry with me. I feel awful and beaten down as I don’t want to upset anyone but the new role is fully remote and a nice pay bump. Looking for words of encouragement that I did the right thing. I feel awful 😞

Hi I got IBM offer and Bangalore location but I would like to work from Chennai. They have not given any joining bonus and relocation also reimbursement till 25k only provided. Can I ask them for full wfh ? I know for first day induction i should go to office but since they're not providing any relocation allowance can I ask them to provide full wfh and change of base location to Chennai?? How are 1st year litigation associates dealing with WFH? I’ve been having terrible anxiety/panic attacks, and pretty sure my billables wont exceed 110 for April.
