I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!

I just started a new job this past week and I’m realizing my boss is a huge asshole and doesn’t have a great reputation in the company.

It was hard to tell during the interview process but ultimately I don’t think I’m gonna enjoy working for them. Please suggest any good sources to prepare for data engineer interviews in GCP, Python, SQL, Pyspark. I have worked only in a few tools in GCP and done basic coding in pyspark and above average in SQL, but need to be prepared to handle all questions to grab some offer. Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.
