The only difficult part of the pay periods is when you are switching from one to the other. You really get used to having either a bigger pay less frequently, or smaller one more often. Something to take into consideration if there will be a change, but personally after a couple cycles it’s no big deal either way.
Are you asking for a preference? I've always been paid every two weeks, so I'm just used to that. And I guess that's my preference. I remember people once arguing that getting paid every week was better. But it's still the same salary, so what difference does it make?
Weekly pay used to be more common and is preferable when you have low wages i’d imagine
