I was told I was the top candidate for a role after final rounds, but the role was impacted by the hiring freeze. Since then I’ve reached out to the recruiter but haven’t gotten any response (been almost 3 months). When interviewing for a position at Accenture does ACN reach out to HR at your current firm? Do they follow up with the 3 previous supervisors you are asked to provide in your application? What all do they ask each them and what are they looking for?

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.
