Anyone know what kind of experience or certifications I should be aiming to get if I'm trying to break into a pentest role? I just graduated last year and have about a year of sysadmin experience and am trying to get into it asap. So, I'm already applying/job hunting and probably won't get much replies but. Should I be looking at more security analyst/admin roles first? Going for certs? Getting a masters? Wondering what I can do to improve my chances. TIA

I have worked my way up in Insurance for 4 years but the 1st year being an intern/front desk/admin and was promoted twice and now an account associate helping my AMs/AEs manage our Producers' books of business. I was recently approached by a big brokerage for a Client Manager position. I got an offer at Nokia, and my new manager said that she wanted to put me in the higher salary bracket however the HR insisted that we lowered the range. That caused me to receive a much lower salary than expected. Should I renegotiate even when my manager said that she tried giving me more. Does HR really play that big of a role in this?

How difficult will it be to transition from Internal Audit and IT audit to a traditional Accounting or Finance role(senior financial analyst, senior accountant, etc)?

Hello, Need an advice on my offer from Deloitte. I am on OPT and looking for H1B sponsorship this year, recruiter said they will do it but I am wondering if I join after 2 weeks will they be able to do it as there won’t be much time left. My current company will file H1 for me. I got an offer for a consultant role at D with 25$k extra than my current salary and 10$k sign in bonus but I am currently working as a Sr Con. Is it advisable to take a risk in my case considering H1 as a priority?
