Hey! Any Google folks know if itâs possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I donât want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, Iâm assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think itâs a fair trade off if Iâd be allowed to work fully remote. Iâm also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if Iâd travel weeks at a time.

Honestly when I started I felt the same way, OP. The dread carrying a 60M quota and the pressure thatâs associated with it was an adjustment I thought I could handle fine. I actually think that neuroses makes me a better seller, so I donât suppress the feelings of âwhat if I fail?â, because you use that pressure/energy and channel into your customer/client. Also Getting buy in from your team and management structure is huge so everyone is in the boat together (easy to type, hard in practical application). Sales will be a rollercoaster of emotions, and it takes time to acclimate.
Not that I am an under performer. New to the firm.. and still building credibility.. but seems # is all that matters at the end.
Any pro tips...
