Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

My 2 year MBA were the best two years of my life. In terms of fun, growth (academic and personal), stretching myself, everything. You only rreaaalllyyy get into it and get comfortable getting out of your comfort during second year, IMO
2yr MBA has way more fun
1yr if you are going back to the same firm, 2 yr if you want to try something new (or take some more time off). A lot of consulting and ibanking firms now are recruiting primarily from internships, which you lose if you do a 1yr.
Emory Cornell and Northwestern provide the quickest return on investment but you lose the internship opportunity
Thoughts on 1 year EU based MBA program versus US based 2 yr
1yr European program all the way
also depends on where you want to work after and where you’re from
I wish my program was one year instead of two. I'm wasting money returning a second.
