Product owner role in cloud. How feasible is getting this role coming from tax business analyst role?

I have my phone screening interview coming up soon for an L6 Senior applied scientist position for Tax classification team. I was wondering if any if you can provide any sort of help on how to prepare better for this interview. It's a pretty big deal for me, and I really want to Ace that interview.

I am thinking to switch my career from being an auditor to software. How hard it is to switch? Has anyone done this? What are your experiences? Thank you.

I’m so tired of US companies hiring remote Canadian employees offering to pay a fraction of the price for the same role.

This is consistent across the majority of the tech companies. While I am looking to exit consulting, don’t want to be paid 50% of what my colleagues would be making across the border.

Why the resource team is wrongly mapping to higher level management role project proposals. Like 4 yr experienced people are being proposed for 10 year experience requirement.

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Debating leaving and going to a different Big 4, thoughts?

I have 32k miles with THY that are about to expire. Normally I'd go ahead and book a flight, but I can't project which countries might be locked down again 5-6 months from now (haven't accrued enough PTO to travel in near future).
