PwC Interview - on Friday I did the final round of interviews with PwC (3 interviews with 3 team members) ending at 4pm. I received positive feedback in all the interviews, and felt like I really knocked it our of the park. Today at 2am an automated email that they will not be proceeding with me. Has this happened to anyone else? I applied for the job exactly 60 days ago could it be an email from workday if the application expires? The interview going well and 2am email seemed so odd to me

I’m currently interviewing with a few top 10 firms and a couple top 100 firms for a mostly remote experienced associate/new senior role. Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? I’m struggling to figure out that out because I used to gauge it on the feeling I got while in their office during interviews. Any suggestions would be helpful :)

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

I’ve been promoted with a title but not the responsibilities. I’m job searching and am primarily looking at postings that don’t include my promoted title — I’m not sure how to professionally articulate in an interview why I would be willing to take a “step down”. As I see it, I’m looking for a lateral move because I don’t actual have experience as a true “senior”.
