Q about Fed job (USA Jobs): any insight into potential issues caused by applying to two posts for the same position at an agency? I believe they are hiring 2 staff to serve in the same role, with 2 separate posts and different, but overlapping, application windows.

I want to double my chances of proceeding down the hiring route, but I know HR systems can be quirky. I don’t want to inadvertently hurt my chances by applying for two posts simultaneously for the same position.

Hey folks, need some help. I cleared all my interview rounds and had completed the documentation too. However for more than two weeks the status on the portal is "offer initiated". The HR says the delay is happening because the people who need to approve are on leave. Are they playing around or keeping on hold? Do they actually release offer after this much delay? So I was offered a role in Strategy Consulting in after 2 years in Risk Consulting however, after 2 years I’ve only worked on Internal audit engagements few ad hocs such as updating risk register and the delegation of authority matrix.
