Been with my boyfriend for 4 years. His family is much more wealthier than mine (6 cars, owns 4 houses, part of 3 businesses). My family is middle class and I feel inadequate around his family because they’re so wealthy. I feel depressed because I can’t live his lifestyle and sad for our future. Every time I speak to my director (at least twice a week), he works in how he is getting older into the conversation(humorously). For instance, he forgot something non-work related, said “sign of old age”. He recently told a story, said, this is how old people talk.
