Okay hear me out - been wanting to start a side hustle/business/startup for a while now as it’s a cool learning opportunity and I want that kind of passion. just don’t really have any good ideas....how do I brainstorm and come up with meaningful ideas?

I have two questions. I have 10 years of experience in multiple sectors and I have been trying to gain a leadership position. I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? I am trying to move to Houston but I don’t want to move until I am confident I can obtain a position in the city before packing up and leaving.

I think I’m going to go from a big brand name agency to a small lesser known shop to be a part of running a dept. it’s a big step up. Is it a career killer to go to a smaller lesser known shop?

Considering taking a position with a small-cap in the US trying to build their legal department. The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. How reasonable is it to ask for a bump in title - Senior counsel or Head of Legal, US? If it matters, I am a 6th year and have been told that I will be expected to hire a junior or paralegal as we build up.

If you were to transition from bedside which path would you choose?? Education, Quality management/coordinator, Administration?

What does an exit from Salesforce consulting look like? I’m in a technical role leading a small team so my understanding is a technical/solution architect or a development team lead at either Salesforce or an end user like Amazon/Amex.

I have bounced around a couple consulting companies so would prefer not to do it again. Total 4 YOE.

I don’t think I have enough YOE to go for a program architect role at SF otherwise I’d be interested.

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). Had a scratchy throat yesterday that has since gone, low grade fever all day today (99-99.9). Have felt off and spacey today, and had a headache which went away after taking Advil. Have an appt to get covid testing tomorrow. Test is thru my doc office and they said they’d have results within 24 hrs. Even so, I currently have severe anxiety about all of it. Anyone have advice for how to cope until I know exactly what’s going on with me? I feel like this stress isn’t good for my immune system.
