Honestly, this year put 15k of your 100% into crypto.

Depends on your age and risk level. I follow the wisdom of (120-age) in equity funds and ETFs, and the balance in bond funds. So at 50, I’m at close to 70/30. And then the 70% is chopped into 40/15/15 between large cap, mid cap/small cap, and international. I’d say with 100k you can cover most of these sectors with a few ETFs or mutual funds. Start with something like ITOT or VONG which will expose you to a lot of large and mid growth equities. Then fill in with smaller amounts in the other niches I mentioned based on the allocation that makes sense for you.
Thanks for the advice! I’d say I’m moderately open to risk as I am in a relatively stable industry, make over 100K salary and I’m 27. But I also get spooked thinking of losing money, which is why I haven’t jumped into the markets in a major way yet. I currently have about 30K in ETFs and stocks. So would you agree with putting all of the 100K into the market in the allocation you described?
That’s really helpful. Thanks for taking time!

No bonds.
I do own a small amount of bond ETFs. No more than 5% of my total investable amount.
Would you say no bonds bc of the current market conditions or no bonds for some other universal reason related to my age or something else?
And what would you suggest I do with the money that one would normally allocate to bonds?
Thanks!!
