recently joined a Canadian company as a fresher ML Engineer and have been working remotely from India for the past 4 months. Currently, I'm being paid around 2 lakh/month on the Indian payroll. Is it realistic to negotiate, say after a year, to switch to Canadian payroll instead? Has anyone had success with this kind of transition? So then It will be around 4-5 lakh/ month which is still underpaid but balanced between theirs and our payroll.
