Bonus for EY S&O?
Need help deciding if this offer is worth moving for. Received an offer from Booz Allen Hamilton for an Associate level Sr. Systems Engineer in Los Angeles for $135k base. I countered $150k and a $15k singing bonus and asked if I could be brought on as a lead associate since I've been a lead/manager for a while in my current company.
Current company TC: $125k in Utah.
YOE: 7 with M.S. and MBA

I like to throw out an outrageous number, and say something like “…but that’s total comp. I’d like to hear an offer including all your benefit details. And then, when it comes to salary - I’m flexible.”
This tends to work well because most folks (including HR) don’t know how to calculate total comp on the spot - they feel confused by your big number and the math of total comp. They won’t flat out reject you - instead (as is true in most negotiations), when you over shoot someone’s top number, they instantly reveal their top number and say they can follow up with total comp details. Now, you have the advantage of knowing their top salary number and you get to make the next move in negotiations.
Not always, but usually this is how it goes.
No discussion regarding salary was ever had prior to the on-site?
