All are giving almost same CTC with almost same role. Which organisation should i join . Also I have question if pune will suit me or not. I'm a Principal Consultant / Senior Manager. Client has offered a Senior Director position with a very loose job spec. The title is reasonably grand, but I'm nervous about going from a world where (with a little work) I can walk away from projects, to being swamped as the most 'capable' (read: used to having to prove my value each day) person in a struggling team. Client tells me my view is colored because I'm used to working to SOW, and that senior roles are typically 'vague'. Thoughts?
Can’t speak from personal experience but they should at least have goals/objectives/KPI’s for the role. Why is the team struggling? Why are they hiring? New role/what happened to the previous person? Could be they have a goal they want to reach but don’t know how and want your expertise. But they should be able to say that. Real lack of transparency, especially if the team is struggling, is a red flag.
