"Only" $2k? Meh

I immediately though 2k as in points! It's a good deal even if cash.

LOL from ATL

Considering most round trips to Europe cattle class are 1-2k, I'll celebrate

Lol where are you finding coach tickets for $1-2K the most I've ever paid was $600

Yeah our S& friend must be flying Turkish airlines if he's going to Europe in the summer for $600. Sure wasn't a decent airline

Never flown Turkish Air. Actually Norwegian's coach is nearly as nice as business on Delta/American/United, for a fraction of the cost. But I guess to each their own.

Good for you. From Atlanta, would cost me $300 to New York. Then Norwegian layover to Madrid. Minimum total for the dates I need (meaning 2 layovers) is roughly $1400. So yeah, to each their own.

Well that makes sense, your costs are going to be different if you're flying with fixed dates. But I'm sorry to hear that OP. Better luck next time. Btw I sense hostility--not sure why, but if I've offended you in some way, I apologize.

Lol coach isn't $1-2k unless you look once and have specific dates. You gotta follow the flash fares, my friend

Overnight flight, right? Doesn't really seem as worth it if you'll be sleeping

Our firm told everyone no bonuses this year due to the pandemic. However, people like myself with high utilization received a “bonus” in terms of a gift card. My director notified me of this, but the other day my boss was mentioning how no bonuses this year really sucks. I was told by the director to not mention it to anyone but I figured if anyone knew I got one it’d be my boss. I feel super uncomfortable now because do I essentially lie to my boss because I’m not supposed to talk about it.
