Money is not attached to an arbitrary title. It depends hugely on experience. Then adjusted again by the role, type of agency, and whether it’s an internal promotion vs a new hire.
There are kids with 4 years experience getting senior titles. And people with 10-12 years with senior titles. Make no mistake, they are not anywhere near the same salary.
In LA, 70-120.
(I’ve worked at most big LA creative agencies)
In NYC, I’d say $100k on low end... $120k as average...$150k on high end. Subtract $10-$20k from those numbers for LA and smaller agencies in either city.
