A few things I’m curious about:
1. Anyone else navigate this transition? How do you stay intellectually stimulated without manufacturing busyness?
2. If you’re a founder or operator looking for a Saudi-based advisor with deep regional context, open to conversations. Not looking to monetize everything, genuinely enjoy being useful.
3. Any communities, platforms, or informal networks worth plugging into? Advising early-stage startups, mentoring, pro bono strategy work. all on the table.
Happy to connect.

Similar move and doing similar gig!
Will do :)
I had this happen when I went to a SWF. Eventually had to leave after 4 years.
Completely feel that. Luckily I left my previous firm on good terms, they told me the door’s always open if I ever want to come back, which is reassuring. Still keeping conversations warm with a few consultancies in the region (MBBs and some niche shops) just to stay connected. Plan is to give this at least a year and see how it evolves, but if things don’t change much, I might just bite the bullet and go back. As toxic as consulting was, I enjoyed it and was very good at it.
