Saudi, made the jump from consulting (9 years, Riyadh-based) to a senior strategy role at the client side. Love the job, love the mission, but coming from the chaos of consulting I was not prepared for how much white space exists on the client side.

I already advise two companies part-time but it’s burst work, heavy for a week or two each quarter, then quiet. Looking for ways to stay sharp and useful in between. Any advice?

Dubai people I live in Marquise Square tower and my neighbor is having a party literally every day till 4-5 in the morning- I spoke to him and he apologized and promised to keep it quiet but he didn’t. So I spoke to the security if they can tell them to calm down and the security said that he can’t do anything as it’s the weekend! Is that normal or should they give me a noise compliance and force him to stay quiet after some time.
