Seeking advice - I finally got a job offer at a great agency after months of looking. However I am currently in the interview process for my dream agency/role and haven’t heard back from them yet. Struggling on deciding if I should sign the offer or wait to hear back from the second agency. How bad is it to sign an offer with the possibility of backing out a week or so later? I don’t want to lose out on a job if I don’t get the second offer but I also don’t want to give up on my dreams. Help!

When is a 3 page resume acceptable?

I have an informational interview with a Managing Director on Friday about a manager role. I currently serve in a client services role and do not have traditional consulting experience (billable hours, etc.). Additionally, while I’ve worked with McKinsey, Accenture, McKesson, and other teams on major projects, I don’t have experience putting together the strategy, more of a support function. Feeling a tad intimidated! Any tips would be so very appreciated!

SO and I recently moved to the DC area. We are both new to federal consulting. They have a few interviews this week. When a job description mentions " an understanding of federal contracting vehicles and procedures".
What should they be ready to talk about? CLINs, GSAs, color team reviews etc.? Would anyone have insights on this? Much appreciated!

I just started with a company as an HR Generalist. Within the 3 weeks of being there, my boss’s boss left, and today I found out my boss gave notice. HR is not valued at the company and it’s disheartening to know I was hired into a mess. I am now actively looking but how do I explain to other employers why I am actively looking and what do I put on my resume? I have never had to deal with this before.

I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

What companies in India only take about 2-3 rounds of interview? Which companies have the quickest interviewing process in India?

Is it difficult landing an in-house position as only a second year corporate associate in big law? I know some people who went in-house straight out of law school and some who had no transactional background but went in-house after just a year of practice. Not having that same luck on my end.

I have received my first offer letter which they wanted me to accept by e- signing it and after i did that theh have sent out form 11 and other documents to be filled in 2 days.
I have never filled form 11 and other personal details untill 1 week before my joining date.

My joining date would be after my notice period which is usually 2 months.
Should I share the person details and form 11 they asked for now itself?
Will it be a problem if i don't wish to join the company later

I’m 23 and independent. Working full time and studying full time is taking a serious toll on my mental health. I’m always tired, unmotivated, depressed, sometimes angry at my life, and I don’t know what to do. I’m in my sophomore year. I also don’t work in the field that I’m studying (computer science) because I’m always rejected without an interview, which is another aggravating factor for me. It’s hard to have time to work on personal projects to make my portfolio more attractive.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .

Straight up plagiarism imo. Literally search "adoptable dog on beer can" and the Motorworks stuff comes up, so not googling the idea beforehand is not an excuse.
