How much time do you have to get back to the offering company? I think taking ~one week to think about it is acceptable in any case (interviews or nto). Do the other way round though! Let the companies you are interviewing with know you have an exploding offer so they can try and speed up

That smells desperate on their side honestly, I doubt they would rescind the offer just because you want to take a reasonable amoint of time to actually review it. Sorry if I misunderstood but are they insisting for you to verbally accept to then send over the contract or for you to sign? Because if you’re not scared of potentially burning bridges you could say yes and then not sign if you get something better in the meanwhile (usually companies are not that quick to send the documents and it would buy you time). Truth be told these days you even hear about people who turn down signed offers so…
Yes - be up front, try to stretch out the timeline and say you are still interested but need more time to evaluate
I believe it all depends on which position you intend on going with. I like transparency and always let the recruiter know that I am interviewing with other companies.
I was in a similar situation January. I was interviewing for three roles. I let them all know. One company was quick to put an offer out but would not match the pay on the other positions. The second I did not hear back from and the third they pushed the interview process along and raised the pay .
I would take it. Taking two weeks to get back to you isn't a red flag. That has been becoming common lately.
